Galanthus Brenda Troyle

Brenda Troyle was one of the well known snowdrop names to be excluded from treatment in the recent monograph. The authors were unable to establish the true derivation of the name nor choose between several very similar (but not identical) plants being passed around as Brenda Troyle.

Most descriptions point to its similarity to, but earlier flowering than, S. Arnott. Our stock shows these traits and came from Noel Pritchard who received it as Brenda Troyle from Primrose Warburg.
